The Lineup

This does not seem to be a mistake on GIGABYTE’s end. The listing actually showcases the CPUs supported by the LGA 1700 socket, or the Z790 chipset.  We now have almost all the K/KF/non-K/F variants from Intel’s 13th Gen. Of course, not all information has been listed such as the core/thread counts although they are mostly finalized at the time of writing. The list also contains a few Alder Lake CPUs as both generations share the same LGA 1700 socket.

Release Date

While the i5/i7/i9 – K/KF series is arriving on the 20th of October, the other models from Raptor Lake could possibly arrive in 2023. Intel may aim at the CES 2023 event to unveil their budget oriented 13th gen SKUs. This is important because we will also see the i9-13900KS at around the same time next year. The 6.0GHz out-of-the-box chip is expected to trade blows with AMD’s Zen4–X3D lineup.
